John "Jack" Englehart, age 59, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at The Laurels of Defiance after a lengthy illness. He was born on May 12, 1959 to John and Mary Jane (Chester) Englehart in Paulding, Ohio. He was married to Nancy (Kahle) Englehart, who resides in Defiance. Jack worked at Chief Supermarket in Paulding and Delphos, Prudential Insurance, and Shisler Insurance Agency in Paulding.

Jack is survived by his wife, Nancy of Defiance, parents Mary Jane and John Englehart of Paulding, sons, Nicholas (Angie) Englehart of Defiance, and  Ian Englehart of Bryan, sister, Lynda (Richard) Ringler of Paulding, brother, Mark (Roberta) Englehart of Antwerp, and grandchildren Andrew and Leyna Englehart.
