John L Ague age 75 of Sherwood died Friday at Mercy Hospital Defiance. He was born Mar 23, 1936 in Hopewell, Pennsylvania the son of Norman Ague Sr. and Florence (Jones) Ague. On September 16, 1960 he married Frances (Sutter) Ague who survives. John was an active in various organizations including The Moose Lodge # 2094 of Defiance, Family Motor-Coach Association and the Crosley Car Club. He is a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He attended The Defiance College. He retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. He is survived by his wife Frances, a daughter Paula (Larry) Demarest of Defiance. A brother Norman Ague Jr. of Omega, Georgia and a sister April Peggy Olson of Omega, Georgia He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Daniel Ague and a sister Mildred Ague. Friends may call at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00PM Sunday. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 28, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home Officiating with be The Rev. Ted Ramey of the Cecil Community Church. Burial will be in the Sherwood Cemetery The Sherwood VFW Post will conduct the Military Honors. Suggested memorials are to the donor's choice
