Jody Renee Brown, 44, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday,  May 11, 2016 in Bryan, Ohio.

She was born on November 20, 1971 to George and Barbara (Speiser) Brown in Defiance. She enjoyed crafting, watching her hummingbirds and cardinals, and tending to her flower garden.

Jody will be sadly missed by her children, Joseph (Chelsey) Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sebastion Brown and Dominique Brown, both of Defiance, fiancé Scott Degroff of Bryan, sister, Lori (Owen) Schaffner of Grover Hill, Ohio, and her beloved dogs, Deanie & Diesel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and George Brown.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the funeral home, with Pastor David Brobston officiating. Burial will follow at Evansport Cemetery.
