Joan M. Cereghin, 73, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on  Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born on July 11, 1941 to Paul and Grace (Buntain) Mansfield in Defiance, Ohio. On October 17, 1959 she married Robert "Bud" Cereghin, who survives. Joan was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance. She worked for 24 years at Chief Supermarket as a scanning supervisor. Joan loved spending time with her family, and was an avid Nascar fan.

Joan is survived by her loving spouse of 55 years, Robert "Bud" Cereghin, sons, Robert P. (Sheri) Cereghin, and Ronald L. (Cindy) Cereghin, 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren, brother, Bobby (Sue) Mansfield, sisters, Paula (Bill) Johnson, Ann (Bob) Kline, and Kim (Kenny) Brown, all of Defiance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Grace Mansfield.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Luhring officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens.
