Jimmy D. Matney, 39, of Defiance, passed away on  December 27, 2013 at his home in Defiance, OH.

He was born on November 4, 1974 to Wetzel Matney Jr. and Pamela (Karr) Addington in Defiance, OH. Jimmy worked as a Handyman.

Jimmy is survived by his loving mother; Pamela Jane (Steven L.) Addington of Defiance, OH, loving father, Wetzel Matney Jr. of Tazwell, TN, sisters, Kayla Matney of Bowling Green, OH, Katina Renee Clark of Defiance, OH, daughter, Haley Shey Matney, son, Hayden James Matney, 1 niece, 2 nephews, and a step-Grandfather, Jefferson Conley of Chapmansville, WV.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heavenly Matney.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, 11:00 am at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Pastor Gary Malone, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
