Jill S. Ross, 54, of Defiance, passed away on  Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her residence.

She was born on August 1, 1959 to Paul and Peggy (Bolley) Grosenbacher in Defiance, OH.

Jill was a past member of  St. Paul United Methodist Church.  She worked as a medical transcriptionist.

Jill is survived by her daughters, Nicole Greene of Defiance, Melissa Greene of Cadillac, MI, son, Allen Greene of  Bretheren, MI, 7 grandchildren, mother and step-father, Peggy & Bud Kemp of Coldwater, MI, step-mother, Mary Grosenbacher, of  Defiance,  brothers, Steven (Patricia) Grosenbacher of Defiance, and  Kim (Sally) Grosenbacher of Defiance.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Grosenbacher, grandson, Tyler Greene, and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014, at the funeral home.with Rev. Michael Donnally officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery
