Jessica Lee LaVigne, 36, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on August 28, 1981 to Bruce and Sherry (Wright) LaVigne in Defiance. Jessica was a 1999 graduate of Defiance High School and Four County Joint Vocational School in cosmetology. She enjoyed styling hair, and spending time with her children, family, and friends. Jessica will be sadly missed by her father and step-mother, Bruce (Michelle) LaVigne of Defiance, mother, Sherry LaVigne of Florida, children,  Allayna LaVigne and Ben Frymire-LaVigne, sister, O'Jenna (Burt) Morlock of Defiance, brother, Jason (Stephanie) Dockery of Paulding, grandmothers, Agnes LaVigne and Marlene Wright, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Garland Wright and Robert LaVigne. Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Father John Stites officiating. Memorials are suggested to the benevolence of the family.
