It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet Jessica Lynn English, age 35 of Defiance, Ohio.

Jessie was an amazing mother to her daughter Mariah. She was an even better daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and just a friend to everyone! Jessie had such a heart of pure kindness! She touched the hearts of many. Jessie's passing will leave a hole in the hearts of many whose lives she touched. The greatest joys of Jessica's life was her daughter Mariah and three nephews, Jayden, Jacob and Tyler.

Jessica was born on June 10, 1987. She grew up in and around Defiance and Sherwood, Ohio. Jessica was a 2006 graduate of Good Samaritan School. She enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets. She was always up for an adventure. Jessica was an avid Luke Bryan fan and loved her country music. She was also a collector of Dolphins!

Jessica went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2022. Survivors include her mother, Kathy Lane, father, Bernon Wayne English Jr., daughter Mariah English, sister Julie (Jeremy) Forrester, brother Justin Ward, nephews Jayden Forrester, Tyler Forrester and Jacob Berry, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Memorials are suggested to her daughter, Mariah R. English, in care of  Julie Forrester. Online condolences can be given at www.Schafferfh.com.
