Jerry O. "T" Talbert, 61, of Defiance, passed away on  May 4, 2016 in Defiance.

He was born on December 19, 1954 to Okey and Patsy (Wells) Talbert in Bluffton, Ohio. Jerry was a big motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed reading, making people laugh with his stories, and he never met a stranger. Jerry volunteered and served with Ney Church of God's "Lumberyard" Youth Group. He will be sadly missed by those who knew him.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Tyler Talbert of Findlay, Ohio and Dakota Talbert of Ney, sister Vicki Cauger of Sun City, Arizona, former wife Elaine Talbert of Ney, nephew Josh O'Hara of Holgate, and niece Angie Kirkham of Defiance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patsy and Okey Talbert, and brothers, Nelson, Roger, Reggie, and Charles Talbert.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Kevin King  officiating.
