Jerry Lee Baden, age 66 of Defiance, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 21, 2022 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital. He was born on February 23, 1956 to the late Fred and Hazel (Fair) Baden in  Defiance, Ohio. On June 29, 1974 he married Lori Yaw who preceded him in death in 2002. Jerry was the dedicated and proud co-owner of Timcor Inc. in Defiance for over 23 years. Jerry enjoyed flying helicopters, and he treasured his time spent with his family. He was a wonderful and caring husband, brother and father, and will be sadly missed by his family, colleagues, and many good friends. Jerry is survived by his sons, Christian (Tara) Baden of Big Pine Key, Florida, and Jason Baden of New Jersey, and his brothers, Robert (Diane) Baden of Canton, MI,  Charles (Terre) Baden, and Richard (Robin) Baden, all of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lori, and his brother, Timothy L. Baden. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating.
