Jennifer Lynn Bakle, 41, peacefully passed away at Winter Haven Nursing Home in Florida on Wednesday, December 5, 2018

She was born on August 3, 1977 to John and Sandra (Bauer) Bakle in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a student at St. John's Catholic School until fifth grade, then Defiance City Schools until her graduation in 1996. She received her Associate's Degree in Accounting from Fort Wayne Business College. Jennifer was under the care of nursing homes for over 22 years, when she succumbed to her illness.

She leaves behind her parents, Sandra Kay (Bauer) Bakle and John Louis Bakle, sister Angela Kay (Craig Alan) Dunlap, and two nephews, Marcus Alan Dunlap and Alexander John Dunlap. The family will receive friends from 2-8 pm on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. John Catholic Church, with Fr. Eric Mueller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memory Gardens.
