Jeffrey Thomas Mick passed away at home August 20, 2014 at the age of 50.  Jeff was a heavy equipment operator for 34 years at Issac Corporation/Metal Management and was the Union Chairman to Metal Management Local 211 as well as serving on the executive board.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, he also loved to work on the farm.  His friends and family were very important to him and he will leave behind his beloved dog, Jasper.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Faythe Mick and Glen and Betty Williams.  He is survived by his parents, Tom and Linda (Williams) Mick; his sisters, Janice (Joe) Echier, Bryan and Jennifer (John) Bok, Defiance; two nephews, Jimmy Proxmire III and Wesley Bok; four nieces, Lauran Munger, Jamie Proxmire, Kacee Lewis, and Janelle Bok; three great nephews, Oliver Proxmire, Otto Proxmire and Zephyrus Lewis; and two great nieces, Faythe Booher and Izabella Lewis.

Visitation will be held at Schaffer Funeral Home 4 to 8 pm Friday and 10 to 11 am Saturday.  Services will be Saturday at 11 am in the funeral home with Rev. Josh Schmidt officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Christmas for kids.
