Jeanne L. Brown-Heidepriem, 73, of Defiance, died Monday, January 18, 2011, at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born August 29, 1937, in Sherwood, OH, the daughter of the Arden and Evelyn (Thiel) Miller. In September of 1957, she married Richard L. Brown, who passed away July 16, 1992. She then married Carl Heidepriem on July 24, 2004, who passed away December 8, 2008. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Defiance. She worked as an agriculture crop surveyor for the Department of Agriculture, was bookkeeper for Miller Gas Company, but most of all was a homemaker and mother to her children. She liked to bowl, enjoyed crafts, and loved to travel. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Gibler of Defiance, her two sons, Stephen R. (Athena) of Defiance, and Dennis M. of Bowling Green, OH, her daughter, Susan Brown of Defiance, a brother, Jim (Judy) Miller of Lima, a sister Jane (Lee) Mobley of Savannah, Georgia, her grandchildren, Lindsay (Jake) Roose, Michael Brown, Christopher Brown, Allison Brown,Evan Brown and Nicholas Brown, and two great grandchildren, Jackson Roose and Riley Brown. She is predeceased by her father, Arden Miller, and her husbands Richard L. Brown and Carl Heidepriem. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday, January 21, at St. John's Catholic Church, Defiance, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association at 2500 N.Reynolds Rd. Toledo, Oh. 43615.
