Jean L. Sholl Jean L. Sholl, 87, of Defiance, Oh , passed away Tuesday, December 16th, 2014 at Laurels of Defiance. She was born in Defiance, on March 5, 1927, to the late Chauncey and Mary Ann (Nicely) Fair. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteering at the Hospital Aux. Gift Shop and bowling. On Oct. 18, 1947, Jean married Charles Sholl who died July 17, 2014. She will be greatly missed by daughters: Karen (Roger) Wilson of Montpelier, Oh., Patricia Sholl of Livermore,Calif., Sue (Bruce) Gerlinger of Advance, N.C. sons: Don Sholl of Defiance, Mike (Judy) Sholl of Defiance and a twin sister Jane Healy of Defiance. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Charles, son Douglas, brother Barney Fair and sisters Hazel Baden and Dolly Acton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Mary Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19th, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Friends are invited to call Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Suggested memorials are to the Red Cross or the VFW Auxiliary.
