Jean Latty, 95, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance. She was born on March 21, 1923 to Raymond and Eva (Werthmiller) Wohn in Defiance. Jean was a former member of  Zion Lutheran Church. She was the co-owner of  The Davis Paint Store in Defiance, and she loved her cats. Jean is survived by her daughter, Jane Mach of Wolverine, Michigan, sister-in-law, Judy Brahier of Defiance, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Linda Ann Peaslee, sister, Marjorie Wohn, and brother, Richard Wohn. Burial will be held at 2:35 pm on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance. Memorial gifts can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
