Janetta Ann Martinez, age 60 of Defiance, passed away on Monday evening, September 12, 2022 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on September 23, 1961 to John and Diane Kline in Kendallville, Indiana. On December 31, 2001 she married Juan Martinez, who survives. Janetta was a member of Temple of Praise Church in Defiance. She enjoyed arts and crafts, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Janetta was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Janetta is survived by her loving husband Juan of Defiance, her mother Diane Kline, three sons; Michael (Kim) Douglas, Christopher Douglas, and John Paul (Diana) Martinez, seven grandchildren, her sister, Joanna Kline, and her brother, Johnny Kline. She was preceded in death by her father, John Kline. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Temple of Praise Church.
