Janet Kathryn Buchholz, 77, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Bethlehem Woods in Fort Wayne, IN.

She was born on August 15, 1935 to Donald and Ruby (Rothenberger) Amos in Napoleon, OH. She was a graduate of Napoleon High School and was a bookkeeper for Automatic Feed Company, and ADS at locations in Napoleon, Florida, Ohio, and Lexington, Kentucky.

Janet is survived by her children, Pamela (Jim) McNeiece of Defiance, Phil (Connie) Buchholz of Napoleon, siblings, Nancy (Rick) Hoover of Bryan, Lester (Lois) Boulton of Napoleon, Leslie Boulton of Ridgeville, grandchildren, Jewett (Angie) Reed of Napoleon, Justin (Melanie Mack) Reed of Defiance, Nicholas Harper of Napoleon, Melissa Buchholz of Defiance, Brandon Buchholz of Napoleon, many nieces, nephews & great grand children.

She was preceded by her parents, a Step-father, Arthur Boulton, and two sisters Alleynne Lotz, and Lynda Lirot.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 04, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home,  Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013, 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Don Leonard officiating.

Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
