Jane L. Healy, 88, of Defiance, passed away on  April 19, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 5, 1927 to Chancy and Mary Ann  (Nicely) Fair in Defiance, Ohio. On April 8, 1950 she married Marion A. Healy who proceeded her in death on August 20, 2005. Jane was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance, Defiance Eagles Auxiliary, VFW Post #3360 Auxiliary, and was a Defiance Regional Hospital Auxiliary volunteer. She had worked at All-Star Corporation, and was a former member of the Tuesday night Bowladiers. Jane is survived by her daughters, Lynne (Michael) Rittenour of Defiance, Judith Snyder of Ottawa Hills, Ohio, grandchildren; Steven (Melanie) Rittenour, Eric (Carly) Rittenour, Taylor Snyder, Great-Grandchildren; Grace and Gabbi Rittenour, Special Friend, Lloyd Blubaugh, and two grand dogs, Rambo and Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chancy and Mary Ann Fair, husband, Marion Healy, daughter, Barbara Jo Healy, brother, Byron G. Fair, sisters, Hazel Baden, Dolly Acton, and Jean Sholl. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 10:30 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Donald L Luhring, officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
