Jane Cameron Bochenek, 79, of Defiance, passed away on  Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN.

She was born on November 14, 1934 to Dr. John and Elizabeth (Shelly) Cameron in Ann Arbor, MI.   On September 12, 1964 she married Robert L. Bochenek.

Jane graduated from Defiance High School in 1952 and attended Miami of Ohio in Oxford and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  She worked several years as an X-ray technician for her father at the Defiance Hospital.  Jane was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Defiance Athletic Boosters, an avid supporter of the Republican Party and volunteered at the polls on election days.  She loved golfing, bowling and playing bridge.  Jane knitted many Christmas stockings for family and friends through the years.  She loved her Defiance Bulldogs and was an avid University of Michigan sports fan..

Jane is survived by her husband, Robert L Bochenek of Defiance, sons, Dr. John (Stephany) Bochenek of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, James (Joyce) Bochenek of Lima, OH, grandchildren, Adrienne & Seth Fuller, Cameron Bochenek, Brayden & Landon Bochenek and a brother, Dr. Robert (Chris) Cameron of Pensacola, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Grace Episcopal Church with Pastor Don Leckrone officiating.

Memorials are suggested to Grace Episcopal Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
