James "Jim" Oscar Wilmoth, 81, of Toledo, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

He was born on December 9, 1935 to Andrew and Mary Lou (Garrett) Wilmoth in Monterey, Tennessee. On October 3, 1958 he married Mary Jane (Rick) Wilmoth, who resides in Toledo, Ohio. He served our country in the U.S. Army.

Jim was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Temperance, Michigan. He was the best Sunday School Teacher ever for over 40 years. Jim loved spending time with his family, and he enjoyed cooking.

Jim will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Jane Wilmoth of Toledo, daughters, Robin (Marvin) Wilson of Whitehouse, Ohio, Marianne (Jerry) Summerville of Lambertville, Michigan, grandchildren; Jerianne (Brad) Rozzell, James (Megan) Wilson, Scott (Sarah Smith) Summerville, and Rebecca (Joseph) Sidders, great-grandchildren; Allison Rozzell, Brady Rozzell, Ava Rozzell, Emma Wilson, James Connor Wilson, Korbyn Summerville, Lola Jane Summerville, Isaac Sidders, Delaney Sidders, and Liviana Sidders, and two sisters, Betty Strader and Betty Underhill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou and Andrew Wilmoth.

A private visitation and funeral will be held, with Pastor Matt Brooks and Joe Sidders officiating.
