James R. "Jim" O'Hara, 63, of Holgate, passed away on  Sunday, August  9, 2015 at the CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio. He was born on May 17, 1952 to Thomas and Alnora (Roberts) O'Hara in Youngstown, Ohio. On June 12, 1976 he married Sheryl (Rossell) O'Hara, who resides in Holgate.  Jim  worked at General Motors in Defiance, retiring in 1998. He loved to fish and hunt, and was a big outdoorsman. Jim enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandkids. Jim is survived by his loving spouse of 39 years, Sheryl O'Hara, mother, Alnora L. McFadden of Wooster, son, Joshua O'Hara of Holgate, daughters, Angelina (Darrin) Kirkham, and Michelle (Paul) Bowers, all of Defiance, grandchildren, Toby O'Hara, Sydney O'Hara, Michael Maag, Aiden Smith, Caselyn Bowers, brother, Michael (Carol) O'Hara of Girard, Ohio, sisters, Patty Costentino and Colleen (Scott) Harry, all of Wooster, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. O'Hara, son, Casey Lindberg, and sister, Kathleen O'Hara. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Hospice Center, or to Shriners Children Hospital
