James J. "Oz, Ozzy" Osborn, 64, of Oakwood, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August  5, 2017 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born on September 11, 1952 to Betty  (Hartman) and James J. Osborn, Sr. in Defiance. Jim attended Defiance High School.  On January 30, 1985 he married Rhonda D.  (Pracht) Osborn, who resides in Oakwood, Ohio. Jim was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance. He owned and operated his own business, OZ Tire & Equipment. His hobby was to customize classic cars and equipment, and restore Massey Harris Tractors. He enjoyed riding around with his wife and dogs in his Mack Mule.

Jim will be sadly missed by his wife, Rhonda of Oakwood, mother, Betty J. Davidson, brother Bruce (Sue) Osborn, sisters Brenda Watson, and Judy (Bob) Bortner, dogs Surrey and Arnie, and Kitty the cat.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Barbara Breckler, brother, Joseph Osborn, and grandparents, Earl and Eleonora.

Private services will be held at a later date.
