James R. Holley, 65, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at The Laurels of Defiance. He was born on December 16, 1952 to Carroll and Doris (Brubaker) Holley in Defiance. He married Sandra (Bergstrom) Holley, who resides in Defiance.  Jim was a former member of  Defiance Eagles #372 and Moose Lodge #2094. He was a HAM Radio Operator, and he owned and operated the former Auglaize Seed & Supply Company in Defiance. Jim worked as a parts manager for Beckman's and Stan Pepple Auto Dealers, and he retired from Ferro Corporation in Stryker, Ohio. He loved to bowl, and spend time with his family.

James will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Sandra Holley of Defiance, son, Bill (Shelia) Holley of Oakwood, granddaughter, Melissa Holley, and great-grandsons, Brandon and Leo Krabill. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. There will be no visitation or services.
