James David Bradford, 73, of Paulding, passed away on  Sunday, September 22, 2013 at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center.

He was born on March 2, 1940 to James and Margaret (Wall) Bradford in Cincinnati, OH.

He enjoyed world travel, reading, nature, was very charming and could be hilarious.

James is survived by his, daughter, Johanna Vaughn of Greenville, SC, daughter, Jeanette (George) Fischer of Defiance, son, James David (Mary) Bradford of Defiance, son, Brad (Martha) Bradford of Defiance, and daughter, Melissa Beckman of Knoxville, TN, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, siblings, Gene Bradford of Cincinnati, Jerry Bradford of Cincinnati, Joyce (Jim) Huebner of Cincinnati, and Barb Holder of Cincinnati.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Howard Bradford, mother, M. Jean Monroe, brother-in-law, Rick Holder, granddaughter, LaReta Jean Vaughn, in infancy.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at  Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Janet Strickland officiating.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Compass Youth Center.
