Isabelle Velma (Leach) Coles, 95 of Tampa, Florida and former Defiance area resident passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013.

She was born December 1, 1917 in Jewell, Ohio and was the daughter of John and Emma (Minsel) Leach.

Isabelle is survived by her three sons; Terry Coles of Ft. Wayne, IN, Larry (Rosalinda) Coles, Jerry (Anita) Coles of Tampa, FL, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Donald & Waldo Leach, two sisters; Vera (Loveless) and Lauretta (Reiser).

Isabelle was a hard-working and patriotic citizen and supported her country by working in parts factories during WWII, retiring in the retail industry. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed sitting home with loved ones.

Funeral service will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 12noon in the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance with Rev. Michael Donnally  officiating.

Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service starting at 10AM and continuing until the time of service.

Burial will be in Independence  Cemetery, Defiance.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
