Irvin Allen Adams, age 85, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday afternoon, December 5, 2023. He currently lived in Defiance, Ohio but was a longtime resident of Houma, Louisiana.

He was born on September 30, 1938 to Jack E. Adams and Olita R. Adams in Houston, Texas. Irvin is an Air Force Veteran, and retired from QTS Fishing and Rental Tools after many years. He enjoyed fishing, FOX News, working in his yard on his John Deere, and spending time with his grandchildren. Irvin is survived by his children; Alexandria (Sterling) Durocher of Angola, IN, Alyssa (Larrand) Brunet of Defiance, Elizabeth (Ted) Gaspard of Louisiana, Irvin Allen Jr. of Texas, Margaret Church of Louisiana, and Dusty (Barney) Swank of Michigan. He also leaves behind his siblings; Sharon (Jody) Pixley, JoAnn (Ronald) Adams Cooley, Shepard (Gracelyn) Adams, and Jimmy Adams, all of Louisiana, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack E. and Olita R. Adams, his wives, Deborah Doreen Williams-Adams and Grace Theresa Constransitch Guidry, their two children, Laurie Lynne Adams and Karl Michael Adams, and two brothers, Robert Douglas Adams Sr. and Harvey Larry Adams.

There will be no services at this time. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
