Hilario  Rodriguez, Jr., 64, of Coldwater, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born on December 5, 1951 to Hilario Sr. and Amelia (Alvarado) Rodriguez in Bryan, Ohio. Hilario enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a backyard mechanic and was known to tinker, rebuild, and "fix" anything. Hilario was a big fan of Ohio State and the Dallas Cowboys. Hilario will be sadly missed by his children; Mike (Shelly Perrine) Rodriguez of Defiance, Tina (Karl) Smith of Montgomery, Michigan, Rachel (Fred) Oden of Coldwater, Michigan,  Amelia (Chris Heath) Wurst of Ohio City, Ohio,  Dylan Rodriguez and Mia Rodriguez, both of Jonesville, Michigan, sisters, Lydia Rodriguez and Betty (Raymond) Aranda, 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Chicita. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amelia and  Hilario Rodriguez, Sr., son Alacrio Rodriguez in infancy, brother, Israel Rodriguez, sisters, Rosenda Garza, Mary Barrera, and Dalia Cramer. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the funeral home, with Deacon Jeff Mayer, officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery.
