Helen Darlene Yenser, 69, of Oakwood, passed away on  August 20, 2012 at the Paulding County Hospital.

She was born on August 4, 1943 to Russell and Flora (Doyle) Butler at Defiance, OH. On January 27, 1961 she married Herald "Gene" Yenser at the Church of the Brethren., in Defiance, Ohio.

She was a member of Defiance Church of the Brethren, and a retired nurse.

Helen is survived by her husband Herald "Gene" Yenser of Oakwood, OH, daughters; Shelley (Mike) Shinners, Kris (Wayne) Noffsinger, Sonya (Steve Hammon) Yenser-Hammon, Sheila (Denny) Martin, Tamara (John) Sohn, and son, Eric Yenser, brothers; Clyde Butler, Russell Butler, Merlin Butler, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by father, Russell Butler, mother, Flora Butler, sisters, Nola Stoller, & Norma Jean Phlipot, and grandson, Tanner Martin.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home & August 24, 2012, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Church of the Brethren, in Defiance, Ohio, with the funeral services beginning at 11:00 am. Rev. Dick Nuewirth will  be officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Defiance Church of the Brethren.
