Helen  Finch, 57, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

She was born on August 22, 1958 to Ivan and Florence Bower in Defiance. Helen enjoyed bowling and cooking-especially her peanut butter fudge. She loved spending her time with her grandchildren.

Helen will be greatly missed by her sons, Roy Finch of Defiance, and Richard (Marcy) Bower of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, 7 Grandchildren, brothers Scott Bower and Dale (Connie) Bower, all of Defiance, and Dave (Deb) Wolf of Napoleon, sisters Judy Bower of Defiance, and Linda Carroll of Ney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Ivan Bower, brothers Ivan Bower, Jr., James Bower, and Bob Wolf, and sister, Mary Kittle.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Timothy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
