Helen M. Christy Helen M. Christy, 92, of Defiance, OH , passed away Monday, January 28th, 2013 at Twin Rivers Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late James and Eva (Kline) Hill. Helen was married December 12, 1936 to Charles Christy who died in 1990. She was a member of Church of Christ in Defiance and had worked at the Pilliod Cabinet Co. in Swanton.. She will be greatly missed by her daughters; Anna (Phares) Lewis of Defiance, Sandra Richard of Dover, TN; sons; Delbert (Carla) Christy of Swanton, James (Arlene) Christy of Liberty Center; 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Service at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, Oh. at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31st, with Rev. Bob Shepherd officiating. Visitation is Wednesday 3-8 at Lawson-Roessner. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Church of Christ.
