Helen G. Sohn, 94 , of  Defiance, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Holgate, Ohio.

She was born on December 12, 1922 to Edwin and Blanche (Bradford) Carnahan in Paulding, Ohio. On June 27, 1942 she married John Sohn, who preceded her in death on May 11, 1948.  Helen worked at Allied Moulded Plastics in Bryan, Ohio for many years.

Helen will be greatly missed by her daughter, Karen (J.D.) Grim of Defiance,  5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Sohn, son, Larry Sohn, infant grandson Timothy Sohn, brother, Glen Carnahan, sisters, Ilene Delaney, Thelma Hiler and infant sister Doris Carnahan.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene Yenser officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
