Guy "Butch"  Westfall, 74, of Defiance, passed away on  Thursday, February 12, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on August 23, 1940 to Frank and Lois (Gecowets) Westfall in Sherwood, Ohio. In 1966 he married Regina "Rita" (Jacoby) Westfall who survives.

Guy worked as an electrician at General Motors Powertrain for 27 years before retiring in 1991. He was a School Bus Driver for Good Samaritan School.  Guy was a life member of VFW, and UAW Retirees.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Regina Westfall of Defiance, mother, Lois Westfall of Sherwood, sons, Guy (Tammy) Westfall of Defiance, and Wade (Clara) Westfall of Reno, Nevada, daughters, Gina (Dr. Ben) Salpietro of Perrysburg, and Trudy (Marc) Elberson of Columbus, 10 Grandchildren, brother, Frank Westfall of Defiance, sisters, Nancy (Abe) Williams of Oakwood.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Westfall, son, Michael Westfall, brother, Larry Westfall, and sister, Helen Partee.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 16, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Defiance where members of the Defiance VFW Post 3360 will accord military honors .
