Glen A. Miller, 83, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio. He was born on January 22, 1932 to James and Sylvia (Marihugh) Miller in Defiance, Ohio. On May 25, 1974 he married Ann (Carroll)  Miller, who survives. Glen served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors in Defiance. Glen was a member of Defiance VFW Post #3360 and Defiance Moose Lodge. He loved oldsmobiles and his animals, dogs, Nikki and Mistylee, and cat Miss Kitty. Glen is survived by his loving spouse of 40 years, wife, Ann Miller of Defiance, daughter, Karen (Rodney) Chandler, brothers, Paul (Janet) Miller, and Ray (Catherine) Miller, all of Defiance, and sister, Grace Joy of West Chester, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sylvia Miller, sons, David and Jeff Miller, brothers, Carl and Harry Miller, sisters, Ruth Miller, June Speck, Rita Kessling, Margie Miller, and Irene Jarvis. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Riverview Memory Gardens with Military Graveside Rites by VFW Post #3360.
