Gladys M. Klein Gladys M. Klein, age 90, of Defiance, passed away at 4:04 P:M , Saturday, December 27th, 2008 at Laurels of Defiance. Born in Brown Township: Paulding County, Ohio on February 16, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Emma (Grimes) Williams She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Oakwood, and also attended St. Johns Catholic church. She married Bob Park who died in 1949. She married Richard Klein who died in 1960. Gladys worked at the Defiance College Book Store for 34 years retiring in 1995. She was an auxiliary volunteer at Defiance Regional Medical Center for over 10 years. She graduated from Oakwood High School in 1936. Surviving are two Sons: Mike (Cathy) Klein of Defiance and Mark (Barbara) Klein of Defiance. Sister: Joyce (Bill) Buchanan of Bellevue, Ohio Brothers: Harold (Ruth) Williams and Carl "Abe" (Nancy) Williams both of Oakwood, Ohio She is also survived by 4 grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Bill, Alonzo Jr., Glen and Richard Williams, Sisters- Grace Thrasher, Lucille Williams, Mary Ellen Copsey and Carolyn Williams. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, Defiance, at 10:00 A:M on Tuesday, December 30th, with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call Monday 4-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Interment at Sherman Cemetery Brown Township.
