Gary D. Bowling Gary D. Bowling, 62, of Defiance, passed away suddenly, Friday, December 19th, 2014 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital Emergency Room. He was born in Wauseon, Ohio on October 22, 1952, he was the son of the late Leland and Betty (Hardy) Bowling. Gary was the husband of Judy (Miller) Bowling. They were married March 20, 1971. He was retired from G.M. Central Foundry where he had worked for 25 years. A graduate of Ayersville High School, he enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting and especially loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife Judy, daughters: Wendy (Tim) Mayer of Evansport, Amy Bowling of Defiance, sisters: Christyna Bowling of Defiance, Darlene Peterson of Defiance, brothers: Kent Bowling of Defiance, Lavon (Colleen) Bowling of Defiance, Charley (Rita) Bowling of Defiance. He is also survived by six granddaughters and a grandson. Private services will be for the family. At the family's request there will be no visitation.
