G. Harry "Kayo" Ladik G. Harry "Kayo" Ladik, age 97, of Defiance, Ohio , passed away Monday, February 11th, 2013 at Sterling House Assisted Living Community, Bowling Green, Oh. Harry was born in Camden, NJ on September 14, 1915, he was the son of Italian immigrants, the late Donato and Rosaria (Curale) Ladik. On his birthday in 1940 he married Anita Palladino who died in 2005. Harry was a real sports fan. He graduated in 1934 and played football for Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, NJ. He also played sports in his younger years for the Zuni Indians. He was a member of the Elks and Auglaize Country Club for many years and played golf until he was 94 years old. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Harry retired as a supervisor at the Campbell Soup Co. in Napoleon, OH in 1980. He had transferred from the Camden NJ plant to Napoleon, OH in 1956. He will be sadly missed by his son; Kenneth (Laurie) Ladik of Bowling Green, a sister; Filamena Giambrone of New Jersey Four grandchildren; Anita Wott, Sonya Inderrieden, Daniel Ladik Anthony Ladik and a great granddaughter Sara Inderrieden. He was preceded in death by his wife Anita, a daughter Harriet Clemens and brothers; Vito Ladik and Vincenczo Ladik. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 14th, with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 P:M at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, OH. Interment at Riverview Memory Gardens.
