Frank L. Bartoe III, age 74 of New Bavaria, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, March 30, 2026 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 15, 1951 to the late Doris (Wood) and Frank L.Bartoe II. On May 18, 1971 he married Tina Bolden, who survives. Frank worked at Campbell's Soup Company for over 38 years until his retirement in 2019. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching Gunsmoke and westerns on television, playing pool, and he loved to pull dandelions out of the yard. Frank loved to spend time with his grandkids and great-grandkids and will be greatly missed by his family and many good friends. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Tina Bartoe of New Bavaria, his children, Frank L. (Bridgette) Bartoe IV, Samantha (Dana) Bartoe, and Clark (Amanda) Bartoe, five grandchildren, Rhachel (Joshua) Liebhauser, Frank L. (Grace) Bartoe V, Destiny Bartoe, Clark Bartoe Jr. and Emily Bartoe, and three great-grandchildren, Jonah, Jackson, and Judah Liebhauser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, LaVonne (Gary) Krohn and Linda Bartoe. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home, with Rev.
