Francisco "Meco" Villarreal III, 44, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio.

He was born on August 5, 1970 to Francisco Villarreal Jr. and Maria Rivera in Corpus Christi, Texas. On August 16, 2003 he married Sandra (Galata) Villarreal who survives. Francisco attended Family Christian Center in Defiance.

Francisco is survived by his loving spouse Sandra, father, Francisco Villarreal, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, mother, Maria (Isaias) Longoria of Portland, Texas, sisters, Rose Mary (Nathan) Valdez, Virginia Montelongo, Angelica Villarreal, Frances Villarreal, Jo Ann Villarreal, all of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Roxann (Steven) Bohn of Defiance, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ana and Richard Galata of National City, Califonia, brother-in-law, Joe Belmares of National City, CA, Godmother, Manuela Montoya of Corpus Christi, TX, many Nieces and Nephews, and his beloved pets, Coko, Bair, Valentino, Augustino, and Constentino.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015, from  2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio, and from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday at the church.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015, 11:00 am at Family Christian Center, Defiance, Ohio, with Pastor Tim Tracy, officiating.
