Florence E. Hohenberger-Treece, age 89 of Killen Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home in Killen, Alabama. She was born on August 11, 1930 to Elmer and Sadie (Stoller) Riggenbach in Paulding, Ohio. She was married to Darleen R. Hohenberger and James L. Treece, who have both preceded her in death.  Florence was a faithful member of Church of Christ. She lovingly raised her children after losing her husband at an early age. Florence loved spending time with her family, and she was devoted to her church. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Florence is survived by her two daughters, Susan (Dan) Heideger of Madison, AL, and Karen (Bill) McClelland of Florence, AL. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Kristen and Jonathan Heideger, Stacy (Travis) Sharpe, and Heather (Drew) Anderson, four great-grandchildren, and her sister, Lorena Steffen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Darleen Hohenberger and James Treece, and thirteen siblings. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio, with Jerry Riggenbach and Travis Sharpe officiating. By the order from the Governor, a mask and social distancing are required. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
