Fern Eleanor Rickner, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2008 in Tampa, Florida. She was born June 27, 1918 in New Bavaria, Ohio the daughter of the late Floyd and Netta (Stork) Young. Fern is predeceased by her husband Rev. Norval C. Rickner. She was a homemaker and a minister's wife. Surviving is a son David (Kathy) Rickner of Tampa, Fl. brother, Vernon (Betty) Young of Defiance,Oh. and a granddaughter Katie who was her pride and joy and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be held 11:00 A:M Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 in the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, OH. Visitation is an hour before servoice on Saturday morning. Interment will follow in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance, Ohio
