Felipe S. Veloquio Felipe S. Veloquio, 79, of Defiance, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at Twin Rivers Care Center. He was born in Bustamante Nuevo Lion, Mexico on April 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Arnulfo and Abana (Sierra) Veloquio. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and had lived in Defiance since 1953. He married Juanita (Almager) Veloquio on May 6, 1962. Felipe will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Visitation for Felipe will be 2- 8 p.m. Monday at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church. There will be a rosary service at 6:00 p.m. Monday at Lawson-Roessner. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 Tuesday, April 3, at St. John Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
