Eugenia Gail Crane, 55, of Defiance, passed away on  Thursday, February 21, 2013 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

She was born on August 19, 1957 to Billy and Wilma (Arnold) Long in Norton, VA.  On February 22, 2005 she married Wayne Crane.

Eugenia was a dedicated mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.  She worked at GM Powertrain from 1995-2005 and loved music (especially Elvis Presley and George Jones).

Eugenia is survived by her husband, Wayne of Defiance, son, Brandon (Candace) Newman of Sanford, FL, step-son, Myron Crane of Pioneer,  daughter, Ashlee (Blaine) Hubert of Sanford, FL, step-daughter, Melissa Crane of Livonia, MI, grandchildren, Angus Crane, Kamryn Dockery, Khloe Dockery, Ayden Hubert, Bryce Hubert  and a brother, Michael (Lynn) Long of KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathy Roehrig.

Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 in the DAR Chapel at Riverside Cemetery with a memorial service immediately following with Rev. Isaac Shelton, Jr. officiating.

The family suggest memorials be made to  CHP Defiance In-Patient Hospice Center.
