Eudolio "LoLo" Hinojosa, 82, of Defiance, passed away on August 19, 2026, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital after a tragic bicycle accident near his home.

LoLo was born in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to the late Manuel and Leonarda (Armendarez) Hinojosa on February 19, 1944.

LoLo and his former spouse, Rosalia (Olivo) Hinojosa, were divorced when LoLo passed away. He was preceded in death by Rosalia and their infant son, Miguel.

LoLo retired in 2006 after 32 years of service at Johns Manville in Defiance. He was a very health-conscious individual. He walked and rode his bike every day, rain or shine. He was a man who never wavered from what he believed was right just to please others. As a result, he had a very small circle of acquaintances. Even though he did not say "I love you" or show affection to his children, he showed his love by teaching responsibility, accountability, and simple humanity.

He is survived by his sons, Jamie Hinojosa, of Defiance and Victor (Yolanda) Hinojosa, of Delphos; daughter, Elizabeth (Chad) Speiser, of Defiance. He is also survived by his siblings, Jose Eladio Hinojosa, Eliozar Hinojosa, San Juana H. Vasquez, and Rosalina H. Quintanilla; grandchildren, Alejandro (Macey) Hinojosa, Andres Hinojosa, Isaac Hinojosa, Ariana Hinojosa, Daniel Hinojosa, and Remington Speiser; great-grandchildren, Mateo James Hinojosa and Cruz Lee Hinojosa.

In addition to his parents, former spouse, and infant son, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Guadalupe H. Martinez, Maria Luisa H. Pena, Manuela H. Uresti, and Rodolfo Hinojosa.

Private services will be held at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. LoLo will be laid to rest in Riverview Memory Gardens.
