Estil B. Church Estil B. Church, 69, of Defiance, Ohio passed away Friday, April 12th, 2013 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Grundy, Virginia on August 31, 1943, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ocie (McClahan) Church. On June 29, 1963 he married Solonia "Kathryn" (Stapleton) Church who survives. He had worked at G.M. Central Foundry in Dept. 116 for for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Estil will be sadly missed by his wife Solonia "Kathryn" Church, son: Joseph Church of Defiance sisters: Shirley (Harry) Acheia of Holgate, Stella Hal of North Carolina He is also survived by 2 granddaughters, and 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 brothers; Harrison, Hibbert and David Church, 5 sisters; Syndey Hess, Jettie Faircloth, Martha Blosser, Ellen Taylor and Ruth Ratliff, 3 children died in infancy; Ronald, Donald and Mary Ellen Church. His memorial service will be at Faith Tabernacle Church 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 17, 2013. The Lawson-Roessner Funeral was entrusted with his arrangements.
