Eric J. Witsoe Eric J. Witsoe, 51, of Napoleon, Oh passed away Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on April 28, 1964. Eric was the son of Dorothy (Koller-Witsoe) Berner and Roger Berner Sr. of Defiance and Donald A. Witsoe of Anchorage, Alaska. Eric was employed at the Campbell Soup Co. A member of AMVETS Post 1991 and the Eagles. He loved playing and watching hockey, loved music and enjoyed and attended many concerts. He liked watching football and was a Buffalo Bills and Michigan fan. He is survived by his parents Dorothy Berner and Roger Berner Sr. of Defiance, father Donald Witsoe, a daughter Danielle Witsoe of Defiance. Eric will also be missed by his brothers and sisters; Roger (Max) Berner Jr. of Sarasota, FL, Carl Berner of Lockport, NY, Angela Campisano of Sarasota, FL, Kert (Dana) Berner of Lockport, NY, Gerald (Kimberly) Berner of Burt, NY, Ted (Candi) Berner of Defiance, Chuck (Denise) Berner of Defiance, Elizabeth (Jerry) Rauber of Defiance. grandchildren: Brayden Feeney and Chloe Boroff, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins. Services will be at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, Oh. at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7th, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating. Friends are invited to call Friday, Nov. 6, 2-8 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home with an AMVETS service conducted at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
