Emogene "Jeannie" S. Bolling, 66, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.
She was born on February 13, 1949 to Joseph and Sarah (Calhoun) Stratton in Norton, Virginia. On June 17, 1967 she married Larry Bolling, who survives.
Jeannie retired from General Motors in 2006. She worked as a Product Technician for 27 years. She loved to cook, and was known as "Mamaw" to her grandson Jacob. She was a member of the Defiance VFW Auxiliary Post #3360, and an Auxiliary member of AmVets Post #1991.
Jeannie is survived by her loving spouse of 47 years, husband Larry Bolling of Defiance, daughter, Lori Bolling-Martinez, and grandson, Jacob Martinez, both of Deerfield Beach, Florida, and brothers, Dick Stratton and Carson Stratton, both of Norton, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Kring, Charlene Boggs, and Carol Weaver.
Jeannie's wishes were to have a private celebration of Life with family and friends at her family home in Norton, Virginia.
