Emmi Rae Wright, daughter of Joe and Shah (Elias) Wright, was silently born at Defiance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Emmi is survived by her parents, Joe and Shah of Oakwood, grandparents, Joseph and Heather Cowman of Chillicothe, OH, Emma Hairston of Rockford, IL, and Toni and Carl Wright of Mandale, OH, great-grandmothers, Virginia Elias of Defiance, and Diana  McDargh of Springfield, OH, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Erasmo Elias and Jim Worman, and great-grandmother, Linda Wright. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to The Rock Church in Oakwood, or Bridging The Gap Church in Bryan, Ohio.
