Elizabeth A. Weisgerber, 53, of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

She was born on September 27, 1963 to Robert and Anne (Parrish) Romine in Nuremberg, Germany. On March 25, 1989 she married Paul Weisgerber, who resides in Defiance. Elizabeth worked as a Lancome Cosmetics manager at Elder Beerman. Elizabeth was a member of  the Fort Defiance Players. She loved her family dearly, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her loving spouse of 28 years, Paul Weisgerber of Defiance, daughter Heidi (Jacob Peterson) Ramon of Defiance, son Christopher Weisgerber of Defiance, grandchildren; Gabriel, Jeremiah, Samuel, Deiter, Julian, and a grandchild on the way, sister Laura Bellile of Cincinnati, brother Matt Bellile of Michigan, brother Chris Romine of Wisconsin, and stepfather Gary Bellile of Cincinnati.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne Parrish and Robert Romine.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 19, 2017. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery.
