Elizabeth Ann Miller of Sherwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, June 22, 2026. She was the daughter of Mary Ann (Druhot) and Willard David Brown, born in Defiance, Ohio, April 2, 1964.
Elizabeth leaves behind her loving husband and best friend Michael "Mike" Miller. Together they have worked on many projects for their home, garden and the John Paulding Historical Museum. Elizabeth had a real passion for the museum, she curated many, many displays for the museum, cared for the massive amount of vintage clothes, chaired several Tea’s, and chaired the Festival of Trees for several years. She also served as a director for the museum. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Vice Regent and was a very active member of Fort Defiance Daughters of the American Revolution. She was worked for Spangler Candy Company for 20 years.
Elizabeth had enjoyed a variety of many pets over the years. She liked family genealogy, gardening and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Tyler) See, her son Andrew Guilliam, and grandchildren, Taylor Canales, Alexander Canales, Kaleb Soukup, Madison Soukup, Emma Soukup, Bryce Guilliam, and Grayson See. Nieces and nephews, Kristin (Sean) Brown Roche, Aaron Brown, Josh Brown, and Amelia Farrell, her sister Danielle (Bill) Farrell of Juneau, Alaska, brothers Patrick (Sarah) Brown of Seattle, Washington and David Brown III of Waterloo, Indiana, step-daughter Jessica Ace Stone, and great-grandchildren, Aria Canales, Heavenley and Jahmai Roche.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Brown, and stepfather David Temple.
A private graveside service will be held at Elizabeth's request. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
