Elizabeth Killion, 89, of Jefferson City, Tennessee, formerly of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 7, 1926 to Robert and Enna (Palmer) Purkey in Jefferson City, TN. In 1946 she married James Killion, who proceeded her in death in 1986. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Beulah Fockler, Margaret (Butch) Spencer, Bobbie Battin, and Sue (Joe) Parks, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Enna Purkey, husband, James Killion, sons, Jay Killion and Daniel Killion, granddaughter, Angela Mason, grandson, J.J. Killion, 6 Brothers, and 4 Sisters. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Brunersburg Cemetery, Defiance. Memorials are suggested to the family.
